The Chartered Institute of Information and Strategic Management (CIISM) has congratulated its Council Member, Professor Sev Sebastian Amoor, ahead of his forthcoming inaugural lecture at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.
Professor Amoor, a Professor of Office Technology and Management in Business Education at the university, is scheduled to deliver the lecture on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
The lecture, titled “Advancing Office Technology and Management in Business Education for Global Competitiveness and Relevance in the Virtual and Paperless Workplace Era: Challenges, Innovations, and Future Prospects,” will be held at the Yusuf Bala Usman Hall, A.B.U. Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria, at 3:00 p.m.
According to CIISM, the occasion represents a well-deserved honour for Professor Amoor.
The institute described the lecture as timely and visionary, while celebrating his contribution as a member of its Council.
The inaugural lecture will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Professor Adamu Ahmed, FNITP, RTP, FICD.
The event, which is Series No. 07/26, is open to members of the academic community and the general public. It will also be streamed live on Ahmadu Bello University’s YouTube channel.
