Group expresses confidence in legal luminary’s leadership capacity, prays for successful tenure
The Third Estate Ilorin Emirate has hailed the appointment of Alhaji AbdulHakeem Uthman Mustapha, SAN, as the Interim President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), describing the development as a significant call to national service.
The group said the appointment reflects confidence in Mustapha’s professional competence, wealth of experience and leadership capacity, particularly at a defining moment for Nigerian football.
In a congratulatory statement signed by its President, Mallam Ahmed Ladan Gobir, and Publicity Secretary, Mallam Nasir Abdulquadri, the Third Estate expressed confidence that Mustapha would bring his strategic insight, experience and commitment to excellence to bear on the administration and development of football in Nigeria.
The organisation noted that football remains a powerful platform for youth empowerment, national unity, talent development and Nigeria’s representation on the global stage, stressing the importance of effective, inclusive and professional leadership in the sector.
The group expressed optimism that Mustapha’s stewardship would contribute to greater institutional effectiveness, stability and renewed confidence among stakeholders in the Nigerian football community.
The Third Estate Ilorin Emirate also welcomed the appointment as a source of pride to the people of the Emirate, particularly as one of its own has been entrusted with an important national responsibility.
It expressed confidence that Mustapha would uphold the reputation of the Ilorin Emirate and justify the confidence reposed in him through integrity, sound judgment and impactful leadership.
The group further wished the NFF Interim President a successful and productive tenure, while praying that Almighty Allah would grant him wisdom, strength, sound judgment and the grace to excel in his new assignment.
