The Third Estate Ilorin Emirate, has congratulated one of its eminent members and former Secretary, Dr. Isiaka Alada Yahaya, on his inauguration as a Federal Commissioner of the National Population Commission (NPC), describing the appointment as a well-earned recognition of his distinguished career in public service.
Dr. Alada was formally inaugurated by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside other members of federal boards and commissions at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
In a statement issued on behalf of the Association, the President of the Third Estate, Ilorin Emirate, Mallam Ahmed Ladan Gobir, described Dr. Alada as a consummate professional whose integrity, competence and dedication to national service have earned him the confidence of the Federal Government.
The Association noted that Dr. Alada’s appointment reflects the value of experience, excellence and unwavering commitment to duty. Having served the National Population Commission meritoriously and retired as a Director, his return to the Commission in a leadership capacity demonstrates the trust reposed in his wealth of knowledge and administrative expertise.
According to the statement, Dr. Alada has remained a shining ambassador of the Ilorin Emirate and a role model whose career exemplifies discipline, humility, professionalism and selfless service. It added that his elevation has brought honour not only to the Third Estate but also to the entire Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State.
The Association expressed confidence that Dr. Alada would justify the confidence placed in him by providing purposeful leadership, strengthening institutional capacity and contributing significantly to the advancement of the National Population Commission’s mandate.
The Third Estate also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for considering a highly experienced technocrat for the important national assignment, describing the appointment as a demonstration of confidence in competence and proven service.
While wishing Dr. Alada every success in his new office, the Association prayed that Almighty Allah would grant him wisdom, sound health and divine guidance to deliver exceptional service to the nation.
The Association also expresses its profound appreciation to His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, for his support and the nomination of Dr. Isiaka Alada Yahaya for this prestigious national assignment.
